best perspective i've heard on the debate tonight is from my friend verucaamish:
As long as John Edwards keeps smiling, he will wipe the floor with Dick Cheney. As Jon Stewart pointed out, "it's like the Breck girl debating Darth Vader."
That, and I bet Cheney's daddy was no millworker.
