wanna go home

i soooooooo do now want to be at work today. today is a new moon. maybe that means something. in respect to not wanting to be here. or maybe not, since i feel that way most days. i just want another day of sitting on the couch reading while my cat sleeps on my lap. also, the fact that it's march and there is still snow on the ground is slightly disconcerting. my mood improves hugely when the weather gets warmer. but today is freezing and windy. so you can probably imagine my mood. that's another reason i think i need to be back in california, because its two months of fairly mild winter is about all i can handle.
